Product Care
Berber Fleece:
1. Washing: Wash Berber fleece in cold or lukewarm water to prevent shrinkage and damage to the fibers. Use a gentle cycle on your washing machine with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can break down the fabric's structure.
2. Drying: Air dry Berber fleece by laying it flat or hanging it up. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources, as high heat can cause the fleece to shrink or become stiff. If you must use a dryer, choose a low-heat or air-only setting.
3. Brushing: If the fleece gets matted, gently brush it with a soft-bristled brush to fluff up the fibers. Brush in the direction of the fleece's grain.
4. Stain Removal: Treat stains immediately. Gently dab the stain with a mixture of water and mild detergent, then rinse with cold water. Avoid rubbing the fabric harshly.
5. Storage: Store Berber fleece in a cool, dry place. If storing for long periods, use a breathable fabric bag to prevent moisture buildup and to protect from moths.
6. Avoiding Pilling: To reduce pilling, wash Berber fleece separately or with similar fabrics. Turning the garment inside out before washing can also help.
Tech Fleece:
1. Washing: Use a gentle cycle on your washing machine. Use cold or lukewarm water to prevent shrinkage or damage to the fabric. Opt for a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can break down the fabric's fibers and affect its moisture-wicking properties.
2. Drying: Air dry the garment when possible. Lay it flat or hang it to dry. This helps maintain the shape and structure of the fabric. If you must use a dryer, use a low heat setting. High heat can damage the fibers.
3. Avoid Ironing: Tech fleece is typically designed to be wrinkle-resistant. If you must remove wrinkles, use the lowest heat setting on your iron and iron quickly to avoid heat damage. A safer alternative is to use a garment steamer.
4.Storing: Store tech fleece garments in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging them for long periods, as this can stretch the fabric. Folding is often recommended.
5. Stain Treatment: If the fabric gets stained, treat the stain as soon as possible. Use a stain remover that’s safe for synthetic fabrics, but avoid harsh chemicals.
6. Avoid Rough Surfaces: Tech fleece can be prone to pilling or snagging. Be cautious around rough surfaces and sharp objects.
